Meet Ione

Ione Stafford, LMT

Northern Idaho has much to offer for the adventurous. During my time away from the office and teaching I enjoy mountain and road biking. There are miles of amazing single track trails and paved trails within a short drive. Including the Hiawathia Bike Trail for a beautiful adventure.

When I’m not on two wheels I enjoy hiking and backpacking with our two dogs. No matter if its a day hike or a multi-day trip the options are endless.

Winter time here brings a whole different range of fun adventures.
Snowboarding, snowmobiling and back-country skiing keep us busy.
Wether you are here for a visit or a permanant resident I would encourage you to come in and experience the unique treatments that I have to offer. You will be happy you did!

Advanced Medical Massage is located in beautiful downtown Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use

Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use; the ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems.

Today, the benefits of massage are varied and far-reaching. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity suppression, infertility, smoking cessation, depression, and more.

And, as many millions will attest, massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.

Wellness

Therapeutic Massage provides you with numerous benefits for health, fitness and mental well-being. Massage therapy helps improve the body’s circulation, increases blood and lymph flow, stimulates the nervous system and affects internal organs as well as all of the muscles.

Relief

Therapeutic Massage is the application of soft-tissue manipulation techniques to the body, generally intended to reduce stress and fatigue while improving circulation. The many variations of massage account for several different techniques. The benefits of receiving Massage therapy can relieve muscle tension, strain, soreness and strain and much more.

Powerful Ally

Therapeutic Massage is a Powerful ally, regardless of the adjectives assigned to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen..
